Floral medallion pendant necklace, handmade recycled fine silver, sapphire and garnet necklace-OOAK September & January birthstone jewelry

Stunning large floral medallion pendant with an openwork design, set with 4 padparadsha (orange) sapphires and a garnet. The eco friendly fine silver pendant swings from a tulip shaped bail.
I strung the pendant on a sterling silver snake chain in your choice of 16 or 18 inches long.
The back is quality marked and has my makers mark, seen in the 2nd to last photo.

The pendant is a large 41mm around, or 1 5/8 inches. The full length of the pendant is 61mm long

The 3 mm sapphires are lab grown gemstones, they can withstand the high kiln temps needed for the silver. They are chemically the same as their natural counterparts, but grown in a lab, not the earth.
The 4 mm garnet is natural.

A note on precious metal clay:
ArtClay silver is a recycled product that consists of fine silver particles suspended in an organic binder. The clay can be worked like other forms of clay, sculpted to almost any shape you desire. The product is then fired at an extremely high temperature, either by kiln or torch. The binder burns away resulting in a pure silver (.999) piece. The silver is reclaimed from such sources as 35mm film and medical and industrial leftovers. No strip mining necessary.
