Ocean blue spiral shell fine silver pendant with sapphire and Tahitian and Akoya pearls

This sapphire studded, undulating spiral shell pendant in reclaimed fine silver is a stunner! It features a zentangle texture and has 4 flush set sapphires in 3 shades of blue and lavender. Dripping from the bottom is a cascade of pearl and sapphires, a dark  silver teardrop Tahitian, and a blue lustre Japanese Akoya pearl. The natural sapphire briolettes and roundels are shaded blues, lavender and purple. The handmade chain consists of sapphires in shades of blue, green, yellow and lavender. A few more Tahitian Keishi pearls and Akoya pearls also. I finished this stunning necklace with a sterling silver spiral swan clasp. This necklace is 18 inches with a 1 inch extender. 

The pendant is 80 mm x 40 mm, or 3 1/8 inches long.

A note on precious metal clay:                                                                                       ArtClay silver is a recycled product that consists of fine silver particles suspended in an organic binder. The clay can be worked like other forms of clay, sculpted to almost any shape you desire. The product is then fired at an extremely high temperature, either by kiln or torch. The binder burns away resulting in a pure silver (.999) piece. The silver is reclaimed from such sources as 35mm film and medical and industrial leftovers. No strip mining necessary.
