Plum garnet pendant, handmade eco friendly fine silver poppy pod top necklace-OOAK

Beautiful poppy pod floral pendant in recycled fine silver with a stunning plum colored rhodolite garnet. I set the 5 mm garnet in a traditional prong setting in the middle of the poppy top. The starburst like poppy flower was created by making a mold of the top of a poppy pod, or seed pod. I pressed the silver in the mold, and added silver dust around the edges of the flower.
There is a hidden bail on the back side of the pendant.
Strung on an 18 inch sterling silver snake chain. You can choose a 16 inch chain instead if you like. Contact me if you would like another chain style.
The pendant measures 1 inch

A note on precious metal clay:
ArtClay silver is a recycled product that consists of fine silver particles suspended in an organic binder. The clay can be worked like other forms of clay, sculpted to almost any shape you desire. The product is then fired at an extremely high temperature, either by kiln or torch. The binder burns away resulting in a pure silver (.999) piece. The silver is reclaimed from such sources as 35mm film and medical and industrial leftovers. No strip mining necessary.
