Silver leaf earrings, handmade recycled silver leaf and garnet earrings-OOAK-VINO

These lusciously detailed leaves are from the Viburnum plant. I recreated them in pure silver. Topped with incredible AAA bright blood red garnet roundels and carved vesuvianite leaves.
I painted the back of the leaves with the silver paste, then fired in a kiln, leaving the fine silver leaf!
I gave the leaves a patina then buffed out for detail and then added the hand wrapped garnets and vesuvianite leaves.
The end result is of a cluster of juicy red grapes!
As with all of my gemstone jewelry, I included my signature spirals. This has become one of my most popular Envy Designs original designs! Yet, no 2 are alike.
I finished them with oxidized sterling silver
These fun earrings are 58mm x 18mm. Just over 2 inches long.

A note on precious metal clay:
ArtClay silver is a recycled product that consists of fine silver particles suspended in an organic binder. The clay can be worked like other forms of clay, sculpted to almost any shape you desire. The product is then fired at an extremely high temperature, either by kiln or torch. The binder burns away resulting in a pure silver (.999) piece.
